Thank you for visiting my campaign website. I am running for Monroe
County’s 14th district to represent my neighbors in Brighton and
Henrietta. My vision for Monroe County is full of promise and progress.
We already have so much going for us. We rank among the top 50 hottest
areas for business expansion and relocation, we lead the nation in patents
issued per capita, and we are ranked among the top ten communities in
which to own a house and raise a family. That’s partly why my wife,
Emily, and I moved back home to raise our one-year old son, Jackson,
after originally finding work out of state.
Unfortunately, our return home is not the norm in Monroe County. Too
many young adults and life-long residents are leaving our community,
jeopardizing our efforts to remain a center of innovation and prosperity.
If this trend continues, many of the opportunities our community provided
to me growing up will not be there for my son’s generation.
Recognizing these challenges, my goal is to make a positive difference.
I have strived to be faithful to that ideal in everything I have done,
and my candidacy for the 14th District is no exception. Whether it’s
helping seniors by lowering the price of prescription drugs, enacting
sensible budgeting and fiscal management, or making it easier for parents
to have their children move back and work in Monroe County, I pledge
to make a positive difference.
